We are recruiting for a standalone restaurant for a small group which currently has 4 restaurants – Restaurant GM at about R35000 to R40000 CTC. See brief below;

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to join our team! It must be someone who excels at the following;

  • Leadership
  • Coaching, training and team development
  • Sales
  • Customer service and exceptional standards of service
  • Communication
  • Attention to detail and eye for aesthetics

You will work closely with the Operations manager, marketing and finance team so you must have at least 2 years’ experience in the role and a good understanding of the following responsibilities and expectation;

  • Overall management of all departments including front of house, bar and kitchen teams.
  • Control of wet and dry stock gross profit with the ability to identify issues and implementation of plans to resolve or rectify.
  • Manage the venue payroll.
  • The basic HR function including training and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of liquor license and all health and safety legislation.
  • Customer service including effective complaint handling.
  • Sales driving and implementation of sales initiatives.
  • Working during the key business trading times which is mainly evenings and weekends.
